The Edge of the Law, or Sharp Legal Consequences

Activities - 28. March 2013

We work to eliminate social pathologies in risk groups of young people from Roma communities.

The Ministry of Interior has approved implementing of the Edge of the Law or Sharp Legal Consequences project, or Agor pal o hakaj vaj prindžar leskero bilačhipen in the Romani language. The project is one of the innovative tools for performing preventive activities on both regional and local levels in selected pilot towns  within the Banská Bystrica region, i.e. towns with an increased concentration of members of marginalised Roma communities (towns of Žiar nad Hronom, Banská Bystrica, Vaľkovňa, Litava).

The prevention activities and measures will be carried out by the Wide Open School NGO in the village of Valkovna, through field work carried out around Roma settlements.
